Position Title: Lead Sheeter Operator (Sheeting Machine Operator / Paper Converting Operator)

Position Summary
Accurate Paper Box is seeking an experienced Sheeter Operator with several years of hands-on sheeter experience in folding carton manufacturing. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate can step in immediately, run at full production speed, minimize waste, and lead the department without extensive training.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot high-speed paperboard sheeters
- Maintain tight sheet size tolerances and board quality standards
- Monitor grain direction, caliper consistency, and sheet accuracy
- Drive maximum throughput while maintaining low spoilage rates
- Identify and correct mechanical or quality issues proactively
- Coordinate with pressroom scheduling to ensure material readiness
- Lead assistants and enforce high performance standards
- Maintain accurate production reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years operating a sheeter in folding carton manufacturing
- Proven ability to run at high speeds with minimal waste
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read job tickets and production schedules independently
- Demonstrated leadership capability
- Track record of maintaining equipment performance and uptime

Compensation: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
